Registering as a Gig Worker on is 100% Free. However, for the services rendered through our platform, Gig Worker will be charged a small percentage of the total bill.

To add a service as a worker, follow these steps:

  1. Please register on our website to access all the features and benefits.
  2. You can log in to your account using your registered email and password.
  3. After logging in, the worker can access their account by going to the ‘My Account‘ section.
  4. In the account settings, the worker can click on “Profile Settings” to manage their profile information, including their photo, about me section, contact details, address, and category.
  5. The worker needs to navigate to “Booking Settings” to specify default values for their booking preferences and provide their bank account details for payment.
  6. Under the “Booking Settings“, locate and click on “Availability” to define the desired time slots.
  7. To set time off or mark yourself as unavailable, click on “Unavailability” in the system.
  8. To add a service, the worker can access the “My Services” section by add group and add service.

To book a service as a client, follow these steps:

  1. Please register on our website to access all the features and benefits.
  2. You can log in to your account using your registered email and password.
  3. After logging in, input your address and select a category, then click on the search button.
  4. Once you find your preferred profile, click on it to view more details.
  5. Navigate to the ‘Services‘ section and explore the available options.
  6. Select the desired service and click on the “Continue” button to proceed.
  7. Choose the delivery date and time, and provide the necessary customer information.
  8. After filling in the details, click on “Proceed to Checkout” to review your order.
  9. Take a moment to check the booking details for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments.
  10. Finally, click on the “Place Order” button to confirm your booking.
  11. You will be prompted to make the payment for the selected service.
  12. Once the booking is successfully made, you will receive an email containing the receipt and detailed information about your booking.
  13. After the booking is completed, please take a moment to rate and provide feedback for the worker. Your feedback is valuable and helps maintain the quality of our services.

To receive booking as a worker, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your account using registered email and password.
  2. Once the client makes a booking, you will receive a notification in Getafren as well as an email regarding the new booking.
  3. To assign your members to the booking appointment, simply navigate to the “Booking Settings” in the “Bookings” section and click on the “Assign Member” option.
  4. Once the booking is completed, you can change the booking status to “complete” and generate the invoice for the client as proof of the transaction.

We charge Frens (the Service Providers) a small percentage of their sales (platform fee) to use our website. Frens pay this platform fee to us, which allows Members to contact them. There are 2 great benefits to a system like this.

  1. This only allows Frens to be contacted by registered members of our website, meaning you won’t have random people contacting you.
  2. If a member contacts you to make plans, they have paid a service fee through our platform and are 100% serious about hiring you.

NO. is solely a platonic friendship website only. You are not required to do anything you don’t want to. You are the Boss, and make all of the rules.

It’s extremely important that before you meet to discuss all of the details including the time, date, location plans, and payment. Once all of those minor details are worked out, you will be able to enjoy your time much better. Remember you are NOT going on a date.

Ensuring the safety, security, and reliability of our platform is of utmost importance to us. By conducting a comprehensive identity check, which includes providing the front and back of the gig worker’s identity card (IC) as well as their bank account information, we strive to create a trustworthy and transparent environment for both gig workers and clients. This verification process serves the following purposes:

  1. Identity Verification: Requiring the front and back of the gig worker’s identity card (IC) helps us authenticate their identity and validate their credentials. This verification step is crucial to maintaining the integrity of our platform and ensuring that only qualified and genuine gig workers are accepted.
  2. Trust and Safety: By verifying the identity of gig workers, we enhance trust and confidence among our user community. It allows clients to have peace of mind, knowing that they are engaging with legitimate and verified gig workers who meet our platform’s standards.
  3. Fraud Prevention: Collecting bank account information enables us to validate the financial details provided by gig workers. This helps us minimize the risk of fraudulent activities and ensures a higher level of security for both gig workers and clients.

Rest assured that we handle all personal information provided during the identity check process with strict confidentiality and compliance with applicable privacy laws. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of our users’ data.

Once you have successfully registered your account, you may proceed to setup your booking slot in Getafren.

  • Once you login, you will redirect to the gig worker dashboard page. Then, click the Booking Settings to setup all the requirements.
  • In the Booking Settings, you need to key in your bank account details for the admin to make payment to you.
  • Next, you need to set your booking slot in Availability navigation link. You need to input the value for:
    • Start Time –
    • End Time
    • Slot Interval – how frequent appointment will be available
    • Max Bookings – maximum booking for each slot
  • After you tick for the day available for the booking, click the Save Slots button.

The gig worker will receive their payment through online transfer, and the processing time for the payment will range from one to seven days working days after the service is completed.

**Important Note** To receive the payment, the gig worker must ensure to key in their bank account details in “booking settings” at the ‘bank account detailssection. This step is necessary to facilitate the transfer of funds via online transfer to the correct account.

In order to apply for a job from your desired client, ensure that you’ve already logged in and registered as Gig Worker for Getafren.

1. In the homepage, scroll down to the Recently Posted Jobs section to view available job. You can click View More to view more posted job by the clients.

2. Next, click one job that suitable with your skills and click the Apply Now.

3. Fill in your offer price and description to convince the client. After that, click the Submit button.

4. The request will be send to the Client and you will receive notification in the Getafren website if you are hired.


There are a few steps to post job to find a gig worker.

1. Login as Client to post a job and click the Post a Job navigation in the Client homepage.

2. Fill in the form for the job detail especially the job title and the job type. After that, click the Preview button.

3. Click the Submit Listing after you check all the job information detail.

4. The request will be send to the Getafren admin for the job post approval. You will receive notification in the Getafren website once it approve.

5. After the job been posted, gig workers are able to apply for the job. The client will receive notification at the top of navigation bar. Click the Book Now button to book the gig worker.

Click Continue button to book the date and time.

Click Proceed to Checkout to confirm the booking.

In order to book a service from your desired provider, ensure that you’ve already logged in and registered as client for Getafren.

  1. In the homepage, just click on the search now to search for provider.

2. Then choose and click on the provider that you would like to book.

3. Scroll down and find the services list in the page. Choose the services you want by clicking ” Select Services” and click continue. If you would like to know more about a particular service they provide, simply click on “+” button.

4. Then choose the booking date and time and click continue.

5. Fill in your details and fill in the description of the the task you want in more details for the provider reference. After that click “Proceed to checkout” and you will be bring into payment page. Complete the payment and your booking is done.
